It’s up to Britain if the 90 day rule is relaxed or not. It’s the UK who has decided they want to end freedom of movement for EU citizens.
I think it’s wishful thinking on the part of the estate agent to imagine that the EU will allow Brits to retain their freedom of movement and not reciprocate.
