Welcome Lorna, your plans sound exciting! The situation with working and living in Lanzarote will depend on any Brexit deal and how long you want to stay. Currently if you are planning to stay for more than 6 months Lanzarote would be your main residence, therefore you would need to apply for residencia. If / when the UK leave the EU then you don’t have the right to live and work here. However you can apply as a non EU resident. Regarding a campervan, the difficulty is that we don’t have any legal places to park them up overnight. A temporary agreement has been reached at Playa La Garita in Arrieta. Additionally during the summer months Papagayo campsite is normally open from mid June to mid September. Unless you are planning to work cash in hand, you would need fiscal paperwork to get paid legally.
