Hi Chris. My impression of Virginia Oasis is that they are mainly residential, although I know many foreigners bought there as investment properties 15 to 20 years ago, and many of those now let them out long term.
A lot depends on your reasons for buying. If it’s to earn an income from holiday letting, they may not be the best choice, as they are quite a way out of resort. But if it’s just somewhere for you to stay for part of the year, then they’re excellent value for money.
