I’m Carmel from Co. Donegal in Ireland. I’ve been coming to Lanzarote for Christmas and New Year for the past 4/5 yesrs and sometimes over Easter as well. I love the winter sunshine and being able to cycle and go walking, escaping the cold dark days of winter at home. The extra daylight hours in Lanzarote are such a bonus. My grown up son also comes over for a bit of outdoor activity and meet up with some friends who work in Lanza. We usually stay around Matagorda and just love the easy vibe of the island.
