With respect Mike a lifting of FDCO restrictions does not solve all the problems. I have a trip booked from Nov 4th to Dec 18th and getting insurance is proving almost impossible. I have recently turned 80 years old and companies which will cover me at that age will only do so for 30 days. Companies which will cover up to 90 days will not do so for 80 year olds. Annual policies are just not being offered. I am reaching the point where I want Jet 2 to cancel the flights so I get a refund!
